Fundraisers

We have several fundraisers that support the youth exhibitors that participate at the Ramona Junior Fair.

As the Ramona Junior Fair is completely held & managed by volunteers,
there is no paid staff. All expenses are 100% funded by the Ramona Junior Fair.

Our most popular fundraising events are The Ramona Junior Fair Pie Auction & BBQ and the “After” Auction

The Pie Auction & BBQ

Before the Fair officially begins, the community gathers for the Annual Pie Auction and BBQ. This much-loved event honors fair traditions and the event is a fun filled evening of delicious food and generous giving.

The BBQ features expertly prepared meats, homemade beans, fresh salads, and other mouthwatering fare. Immediately following the meal, the pie auction offers a selection of incredible, and sometimes exotic, homemade desserts.

All proceeds go toward supporting youth programs and scholarships.

The “After” Auction

The “After” auction is held immediately after the annual Livestock Auction on Auction day.

There are typically 100+ items donated. This includes items donated to the auction for fair week including potted flowers & plants.  Merchants & supporters donate a wide array of items including gift certificates, merchandise, art work, crafts, quilts and so much more.

We have a live auctioneer, usually one of our very own Ramona Junior Fair alumni, that auctions off all the donated items.  There is something here for every buyer & plenty of fun to be had by all.
